Mediation of Disputes
The International Association of Event Professionals (IAofEP) is pleased to introduce a new feature aimed at providing support to our members and their clients: Mediation of Disputes.

Our Mission
The purpose of our mediation service is to alleviate the stress of disputes from weighing on our members while offering consumers a platform to be heard. We understand that disputes between vendors and clients can be challenging, and our goal is to facilitate a resolution that is fair and satisfactory for both parties.

How It Works
• Initiation: Either the vendor (our member) or the client can initiate the mediation process by contacting IAofEP.
• Mediation: IAofEP will assist in bringing the two parties together to discuss the issues at hand.
• Resolution: Our role is to mediate and facilitate communication between the parties to help them reach a mutual agreement.
Important Information
• No Guarantees: While we strive to assist in resolving disputes, IAofEP does not guarantee any specific outcomes from the mediation process.
• Contract Adherence: Members agree to operate using valid contracts and to abide by those contracts as well as the standards contained in the IAofEP Handbook.
• Professional Standards: All members are expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity during the mediation process.

We believe this service will provide valuable support to our members and their clients, fostering a positive and collaborative environment within the event planning industry.
